Last week over a hundred Real Studio developers descended upon Orlando, Florida. Most of us thought we were attending a conference known as Real World. But in a surprise twist, we learned that we were actually attending the Xojo Developer's Conference (XDC)!

That's because Real Studio is now Xojo (see the "Welcome to Xojo" article for more about the name change and new version).

Of course, that was only the beginning of many announcements and exciting changes coming to what used to be the Real Studio community. The conference was kicked off by Xojo, Inc. CEO Geoff Perlman's keynote address, and he had much to reveal.

The Keynote

The most anticipated announcement was that the 2013r1 release of what's now Xojo is coming soon... as in June 4th, 2013.
