I've been traveling more than usual this past year and I've learned first hand the hassles of dealing with all the cords and power bricks for all my electronic devices. Fortunately, Anker is here to the rescue with its PowerPort+ 5.
This is a small (3" x 4" x 1") black brick that includes four USB charging ports
and a USB-C port that can charge a MacBook (or any other USB-C device). Those USB ports are smart, too, automatically adapting to charge your devices at the highest speed they support. That way you don't have to worry about accidentally plugging your one into just the "fast" port—any of these will work.Sadly, it won't fast charge my iPad Pro via USB-C, but that's a minor issue as it charges fine with regular USB (it just takes longer) and usually, when I'm traveling, I just charge all my devices at night.
I still have to bring my cables, but not having to carry all those extra charging bricks around is a godsend. This also has its own (detachable) power cable, which means I don't need an extension cord to reach a plug at my hotel.
With this one device I can now charge my laptop, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch. Best of all, I stuff this and all my cables into a small zipper bag so everything is ready to go for my next trip and I don't have to worry about losing or forgetting anything.
I can't recommend this product highly enough if you travel and you have devices to charge.
