Last issue I wrote about how this one would include coverage of XOJO.CONNECT in Nashville. And then the world fell apart. COVID-19 took over and there was no conference. There was nothing much at all as the world went into lockdown and we've spent the past month+ in our homes, forbidden from going anywhere "non-essential."

Who would have thought? At least those that already worked from home don't have it too bad. Life for me hasn't changed much, but I know it has for many of you and many more around the world. These are definitely unprecedented times and the future is murky. My prayers are for everyone's safety and security as we get through this—which we will do.

In This Issue

Without my planned conference material, I had to pivot last minute for content, but I'm pleased to report that my wonderful writers came through in the clutch.

Since XOJO.CONNECT speakers couldn't give their presentations, I've asked some to convert their material to articles. This issue I'm pleased that Jim Meyer has graciously gotten us started with an exploration of Machine Learning with Xojo. His topic last year was a huge hit and I know many were waiting to see him top it this year.

Stefanie Juchmes has written a comprehensive update to all the latest changes of the MBS plugins as well as what's coming this year.

Xojo's own Dana Brown has summarized all the recent Xojo news, including what would have been announced at the conference.

Markus Winter continues his Mapkit adventures, while I detail how I wrote my own COVID-19 simulator.

In our regular columns, I explain about enumerations in Beginner's Corner, and Paul covers some of the exciting new features coming to Xojo soon. Enjoy!
