Excerpt of article text...
It's obvious that things in the world have changed in the last few years. We can't put the Covid genie back in the bottle, unfortunately, and our lives will forever be changed by the global pandemic that saw a rise in remote work, an upending of the supply chain, economic chaos, and a reduction in travel.
In-person conferences have been particularly hard hit, perhaps permanently, but there's hidden value in meeting people in person and networking you just can't do online.
This year's return to an in-person conference for Xojo was shorter and smaller than in years past—perhaps 50 attendees instead of the 100+ we usually see, and only two days long—but it was a wonderful experience.
