Excerpt of article text...
The Xojo Developer Retreat in Nashville was a whirlwind of music and Xojo, two great tastes that go great together. On every street corner (especially broadway) there was a bar with a band playing
loud , live music. Because it was around 90F while we were there, windows were open and the music poured onto the street. It was amazing and unlike anything I've experienced before. For the Xojo team, things started on Saturday with a couple of days of meetings and planning. The retreat began Sunday evening with the Meet and Greet in the hotel lobby and bar. Afterwards, many went out in groups to grab food.
Monday morning led off with Geoff's keynote—watch it on YouTube (

)—followed by my session "Xojo: How It's Made." I had a lot of fun doing that and really enjoyed sharing a little bit of the behind the scenes with everyone. Next, the lights were dimmed (not literally) for William's "Getting Intimate with the Xojo Framework" session. After a fine lunch, we split into two rooms for more sessions. There were also sessions Tuesday morning, but the afternoon was spent at an escape room. Our team finished with just 50 seconds left! That was the most time left out of all the groups, but each team had different scenarios, so times can't really be compared.
People I talked to seemed really happy to be getting together and found the sessions useful and enjoyable. Maybe I'll see you at one in the future.
