Excerpt of article text...

I recently had the opportunity to chat with Alyssa Foley, Xojo's Director of Operations. As you'll see, we talked about a wide range of topics, from how she got started at Xojo to what it's like working with the Xojo team, the importance of the Xojo community, Xojo's MVPs, XDC, and much more.

I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I enjoyed getting to know Alyssa.

Your Background

How did you end up working at Xojo?

It's kind of a funny story. I went to high school with Dana's husband (Dana Brown is Xojo's former Director of Marketing). We were hanging out once, and Dana kept asking me to interview for a job at Xojo. I had been managing a law firm for about a decade, and I was quite happy with my job. But Dana is very persistent when she wants something. She said, "Just come in for an interview and see what happens." And I agreed.

So I interviewed. William was there, Geoff was there, and so was Jason. I liked the group, and I liked Geoff. Again, I really wasn't looking for a new job.
